Illegal immigration is prehaps the best example of the unholy influence of special interests on our government at all levels. The action that need to be taken would be crystal clear if our elected officals represented the citizens instead of special interest. While mostly a federal issue there is much that the State of North Carolina could do to protect our citizens, if the State Legislature and Fletcher Hartsell were not so cozy with special interests. Where are the people with all the brains going to come from to operate this research campus, since North Carolina education system cannot produce citzens smart emough to opperate this complex? If the project has to go to India to find people to run this campus, then North Carolina education system is not working. Our citizens are getting enough education to wash these non-americans cars and mow their grass. If chosen to be your voice in N.C. Senate, I will work dilligently to repesent the citizens of North Carolina and not forget about Iredell and Cabarrus County. |
We need a decisive change, one that will have impact and make North Carolina less attractive for illegal aliens. If our elected officals in the Legislature and Fletcher Hartsell were making a sincere effort to protect the rights of North Carolina citizens, a legal recourse would have allready be in place. When any citizen is displaced and suffers a financial loss from an illegal act- replacing them with an illegal immigrant- they should have a direct legal remendy. Let the employer who broke the law, reimburse the citizen victimized by the employer's illegal act. If elect to State Senate I will fight for stiff penalities for employers who hire illegals including criminal penalties for repeat offenders. Vote Mike Helms for N.C. Senate. |
